The Illinois Valley Community Development Organization (IVCanDO) is inviting qualified general contractors to submit proposals for pre-occupancy improvements at our newly acquired permanent office location at 287 Hamilton Avenue in Cave Junction.
This project will support IVCanDO’s upcoming relocation and ensure the space is ready to serve staff, partners, and the broader community.
About the Project
IVCanDO is seeking a general contractor to complete a defined set of interior and exterior improvements in advance of occupancy. Work will primarily focus on the front (west) side of the building and includes office build-out, interior repairs and painting, flooring, data/IT readiness, and select accessibility and infrastructure upgrades. Some items may be completed after move-in as part of phased construction.

- Mandatory Site Visit: Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 11:00 AM
- Proposal Submission Deadline: January 19, 2026
- Anticipated Project Start: January 21, 2026
- Desired Completion: February 28, 2026 (with some items extending to March 9)
Who Should Apply
IVCanDO welcomes proposals from licensed and insured contractors with experience in similar commercial renovation projects. Proposals from local and rural contractors and businesses are strongly encouraged.
