Cave Junction Parks and Recreation Masterplan
This grant-funded masterplan was led by IVCanDo’s Roger Brandt in close collaboration with the City of Cave Junction and a steering group of community partners, with facilitation by the Community Service Center of the University of Oregon. The masterplan guides city recreation development, sets priority projects, and spurs grant and donor contributions.

Illinois Valley Recreation Opportunity Collaborative (IVROC)
Originally formed in the late 90’s when funding for recreation development was strong, this group brings all the relevant state and federal agencies together with local outdoor recreation stakeholders to share project planning and resources to maintain and develop recreational infrastructure and programs. One example of this multi-agency partnership was to build and operate the Visitor Center. After a few years of relative inactivity, the Collaborative has been reinvigorated by the IV 20/20 Plan for a number of new projects. Partners include US Forest Service, National Park Service, BLM, Oregon State Parks, KS Wild, and other local nonprofit organizations.
