About IVCanDO
The Illinois Valley Community Development Organization (IVCanDO) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to collaborative programs and inclusive partnerships. Our mission is to champion sustainable development that fosters vibrant economic, social, and cultural vitality. For more than 25 years, we’ve worked at the heart of rural southwest Oregon—listening, building, and growing alongside the community through seven diverse program areas.
Our Energy and Infrastructure Work
In recent years, IVCanDO has expanded its work in energy and infrastructure by focusing on direct impact installations in residences and commercial buildings. The basis of this work has been built primarily on home assessments, which help us verify eligibility of grants and incentives. As we have experienced some of the hardships that homeowners in the Illinois Valley face, we have worked to find solutions to assist in updates and help with deferred maintenance.
