This Veterans Day, the Illinois Valley Community Development Organization (IVCanDO) extends our gratitude to those who have served — and our commitment to listening.

As part of our 2025–2035 Illinois Valley Strategic Plan, we’re organizing a Veterans Focus Group to better understand the experiences, opportunities, and needs of veterans living in our community.

The goal is simple: to ensure that local veterans’ voices are reflected in the long-term vision for the Valley. From access to services and resources, to pathways for employment, housing, and connection, we want to hear directly from those who know these issues best.

Participation is open to all veterans living in the Illinois Valley area. The discussion will be conversational, respectful, and focused on real solutions. Refreshments will be provided, and you’ll receive updates once scheduling details are finalized.
