Cans for Kids art by Dallion McGregor

IVCanDonate, or Cans For Kids, is not your average bottle and can donation station. Nope, we’re the cool ones right in the heart of downtown Cave Junction. You might have even seen our storage container behind Caves Chevron! We’re all about giving back to the community, especially the awesome kids in the Illinois Valley.

Our Cans for Kids program is where the real magic happens. When you drop off those sweet Oregon 10-cent deposit bottles and cans, our incredible volunteers swing into action. They sort ’em out, and then we send ’em off to the Oregon Beverage Recycling Center for redemption. Cha-ching!

Here’s the best part: all the proceeds from this groovy program go directly to youth programs in the Illinois Valley. That’s right, every penny helps support these amazing kids and their dreams. We’ve already distributed nearly $150,000 to youth programs right here in our community since 2018. Talk about making a difference!

Bring by your clean – not crushed – cans and bottles on Saturdays from 10am to 1:45pm behind Caves Chevron in Cave Junction!
