Introducing DAFpay: A Simple, Secure Way to Support IVCanDO

  • IVCanDO DAFpay Donor-Advised Fund giving form

Now you can give directly from your Donor-Advised Fund — online, fast, and fee-free.

Giving just got easier — and smarter. The Illinois Valley Community Development Organization (IVCanDO) now offers Donor-Advised Fund giving through DAFpay, a secure, fee-free way to support community-led change in the Illinois Valley.

If you already use a DAF through a financial institution or community foundation, you know it’s a convenient way to manage your charitable giving. DAFpay takes that convenience one step further, making it possible to give online instantly — just like a credit card donation — while keeping all the tax benefits of a donor-advised fund.

What is a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)?

A Donor-Advised Fund acts like a charitable savings account. You make a contribution to your fund, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants to your favorite nonprofits — like IVCanDO — over time. It’s one of the fastest-growing ways to give in the U.S. because it’s flexible, secure, and strategic. Learn more about Donor-Advised Funds from National Philanthropic Trust

With DAFpay, donors can now:

  • Give online directly from their DAF in just a few clicks
  • Avoid transaction fees or paper checks
  • Enjoy faster processing and confirmation
  • Support community development right here in the Illinois Valley

Why This Matters

Every donation, large or small, fuels IVCanDO’s mission to strengthen the people, places, and prosperity of rural southwest Oregon. Whether it’s supporting local entrepreneurs through our revolving loan fund, creating youth opportunities, or building safer and more connected communities — your generosity helps make it happen.

By adding DAFpay, we’re making it easier for supporters to connect their philanthropic goals with local impact.

How to Give via DAFpay

You can now give securely through DAFpay on our Donate page.
Here’s how:

  1. Visit the donation form and choose “Give through DAFpay.”
  2. Log in to your Donor-Advised Fund provider (such as Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, or National Philanthropic Trust).
  3. Select your gift amount and confirm your grant to IVCanDO.

That’s it! Your DAF contribution will go directly to our work in the Illinois Valley — no paper checks or extra steps required.
