Get ready to groove to some fantastic tunes because we’ve got line-dancing on the agenda provided by Tangled Toes and Scrambled Legs! And let’s not forget about the delicious food that will be waiting for you.

But that’s not all! We’ll also be shining a spotlight on the heartbeat of our community with our annual Community Awards ceremony. This is our chance to honor the outstanding volunteers and neighbors who go above and beyond to make our community a better place to live.

Community Awards Voting

Each year, IVCanDO presents various awards to recognize and celebrate the tremendous contributions and accomplishments in our community. This year, we will be presenting these awards at our Neighborhood Block Party on May 29th, 2024 from 5-8pm at our office (341 E. Cottage Park Drive).

There are five distinct award categories:

Volunteer of the Year – Someone who is not only a star in one group, but who also connects with others.
Good Neighbor Award – An award for special people doing little things that make a big difference.
Organization of the Year – An organization or group that is really making a difference in our community.
Partner of the Year – Agency, foundation, municipal or governmental department or similar that has been a significant partner to the Illinois Valley.
Lifetime Achievement –What more can you say?
